Dovetail Physical Therapy (PT) & Wellness specializes in providing high-quality, one-on-one physical therapy services in the comfort of our clients’ homes, gyms, or workplaces, eventually transitioning into a brick and mortar location.
By operating outside of the insurance-based healthcare model, Dovetail PT & Wellness delivers longer sessions, transparent pricing, and truly individualized care. Ultimately, our goal is to allow clients to achieve better outcomes without rushed appointments or administrative barriers.

Shelby's story:
Dr. Shelby Moreno, PT, DPT, grew up in Spearman, Texas, where her love for movement and competition began. As a four-time team state champion in cross country and an All-State basketball player, she learned early the value of hard work, resilience, and teamwork—qualities that continue to shape her approach to patient care.
She continued her athletic and academic journey at Hardin-Simmons University, playing collegiate basketball while earning her degree in Exercise Science. She later earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Angelo State University in 2019.
Dr. Shelby spent several years working in inpatient rehabilitation, where she treated a wide range of conditions including orthopedic, neurological, and cardiovascular diagnoses. In 2023, she became a Board-Certified Specialist in Geriatric Physical Therapy, a milestone that reflects her passion for serving older adults with high-quality, individualized care.
Outside the clinic, Shelby is a proud wife and mom of two - finding joy in staying active, reading, and giving back through volunteer work. She brings the same dedication and care to her patients that she does to every aspect of her life.
